    Apparently he had opportunities to play in Europe, Australia, America and Portugal so it’s lovely to see that £178 million pound a year Ronaldo as opted for Saudi Arabia for footballing reasons

    It works on all levels for him, he’s extremely well paid and the limelight will be on him which it no longer is in Europe,

    Would Eddie Howe want him though - Newcastle have a great team spirit at the moment - not sure Ronaldo would improve them

    More like they will sign Chamberlain who's out of contract at Liverpool in the summer, available on a free and has a Mrs from there who'd likely love moving back there.

    I just dont get this hatred of Ronaldo! The fellas won everything in the game .He has nothing to prove to anyone but himself . Good luck to him

    It’s just the attitude and arrogance of the man. He would have married himself if legal.

    That and he paid hush money to make a rape case go away.

    To be fair the rape case wasn’t criminal, it was a civil case, meaning it was only ever money that was going to settle it.

    He didn’t make a criminal charge go away.

    I don’t like the guy, as you say he reeks of arrogance and self importance, but I’m not sure there’s much we can deduce from the settlement in that instance.

    We might be able to deduce something from the documents where he admitted she said no multiple times and he apologised afterwards.
