    Poor recruitment for Shaw. Dallas was a gamble worth taking as he was a freebie but was given false hope. He was never gonna be in the first team but had to be due to the lack of depth.

    Pay peanuts......as they say. If only we could spend more money on less players, but ensure that these players we do buy for larger sums have more EXPERIENCE.

    I really don't know whether to be frustrated at the poor gamble of signing him or relieved that we have realised so quickly and acted decisively.

    If he scores 20 goals for Kilmarnock and comes back next season then no. Same as when we signed Mowatt and sent him out on loan.

    It’s horses for courses, though, isn’t it. There’s nothing wrong with signing potential and loaning them out for more experience.

    The club will have a plan. It won’t always work (it doesn’t at any club), but it’s there.

    You have to have one eye on the future on one now. It’s just not known to us as fans who’s at what stage.

    Marsh & Jalo are not 100% ready, but maybe the club think they are our better options currently.
