Forget how good he is. It's a massive disappointment to me that we've already got 4 loan signings in & are looking to move existing players on without them getting a run of games (Digby, Abbott).

One thing that Bobby Hassell's testimonial showed me was how great it was to see a bunch of lads who've made several seasons worth of appearances each who you feel a connection to.

I probably wouldn't have renewed if I'd known we were going down this route again

It's a good signing. He looks a talented lad with loads of potential. If we had made several more permanent signings I guess I'd be a little more convinced that loaning so many players already is the best strategy. Having said that players like Afobe tore League 1 up so it's getting the balance right I guess. My own feeling is that we are a little unbalanced both in terms of having too many loans and too little experience.

That aside I'm looking forward to seeing the fella play.

Agreed. Not only do we have a ridiculous amount of loans but to have three in central midfield is basically stupid. And all ending in january. We will have no choice but to completely rebuild the team AGAIN when they go back.

With Davies injured if he isn't right for a few weeks and we bring in a keeper then we are in the utterly crazy position of having filled our quota of permitted loan players before a ball has been kicked

If he's a quicker version of Jacob we're in for a treat until January.

Looks a talent, would rather us use the loan market than panic buy and bring in dross. I also think it's good that we stop rivals from getting him as well.

Kid looks very talented on youtube. So did Kiwomya.

I'm looking forward to watching him, see what he's about. But there's massive differences in laiking with other kids and laiking against blokes in L1. Hope he copes with ease and helps us towards the top of the table by January.

Better ruddy not be. He should be playing like Lineker next season, just knocking in all the chances that are being set up for him.

I'm liking the look of our squad. I'm in agreement about the full backs and another striker though. Smith had a poor game at Guiseley and Bree likewise against Boro. We've got to expect that they won't be 100% consistent, so it would be nice to have back up. Having said that, if Holgate stays he can play right back.

Would like another striker. I am yet to be impressed with Wilkinson, but LJ clearly sees something in him. Maybe Jackson can resurrect his career with us, whilst McLoed or Henderson would be fab. If we bring in another striker who is expecting to be in the starting eleven though, you could be right about where Winall will be lining up!

Looks a promising player, no doubt he'll have a couple of worldies and then some opposition player will come in and crock him.
