Some one who i like but others didn't when barnsley where linked with him in January. Davey did say tho that one of the coaching staff did watch him play.

if he's the level of player you want at barnsley, i'm appalled.

dropping down the leagues , and from club to club , like a stone.

If he's on a free, he could be worth it

If not, I wouldn't waste my money. Neither one thing nor the other. Not a big target man, nor a goal snapper. If Leeds say they are now in for Simon Cox, why aren't we - or perhaps we are.

That's a no from me! as they say on Dragons Den

    He's ****. League1 is his level.

We ought to be looking at the likes of Connelly & Webber we have to start building, lower league players and untried foreigners from 3rd rate leagues are not the answer.

connelly, h's spent most the last two seasons struggling for fitness. He's at the back end of his career. Rather go for a youngster who still has the hunger desire and the fitness to suceede.

    got to disagree

we are in no position to gamble on raw untried young un's - may as well save the dosh and play Jamil Adam if we want to bring a kid in.

Connelly is tried and tested and has "got the t-shirt" at this level. With a pre season behind him he'll do a job - he was never going to get in the Sunderland side with Cisse and Kenwyne there.

not when he isn't fit. He hasn't been 100% fit for nearly two seasons so for me its a bigger gamble than signing a Cox or a graham.
