Is this old news? I was told at the match (by a usually very reliable source) that the fracas in the players lounge last week involved Haynes/Members of his family and members of Hill's family. As a result Haynes has been dismissed for gross misconduct. Is there any truth in this? Has anyone heard owt? For disclaimer purposes, this is purely a rumour and I have no knowledge of the truth of it.
Shame if he's gone - definitely a talented option in our squad. But in Hill we trust, if something has gone on behind the scenes, I trust that Hill is making the correct decision in dealing with it.
He's got talent but it's unfulfilled and at times he's a lazy sod but we should get some money for him if we can.
Did seem odd with our lack of fit men that he wasn't even on the bench. The press should mention it to Hill.
If that is true then we need to get shut asap, no more training for him either. But surely we can get a fee for him? He is one of those players that always seem to have a value. Leicester were offering a million IIRC, maybe we can get half that?
You're probably right. I assumed it meant Haynes or members of his family rather than Haynes and members of his family.
Dont the players go into exec lounge area to talk with guests and match sponsors after games? Photos n autographs etc?
No, just the man of the match and even he usually just says a few words then leaves. But lets not let that get in the way of a good story eh?
