    Being from the same era as Dave I felt he had been harshly judged in his attempts to defend the employment of Malky Mackay. I did not defend him- thinking we were probably out of touch with current popular opinion -and I also thought his explanation was a little clumsy.
    It seemed as though we were not allowed to comment on anyone's race religion or sexuality.
    It now appears that we are welcome to offend and be offended as a basic right of our free society.
    I - personally would not mock anyone's religious belief's as a matter of courtesy but it seems that that is allowed.
    I am in no way trying to justify the appalling events in Paris but I am puzzled.
