Maybe so, but I'm not convinced if he doesn't get a victory that we should sack him. Only problem is, 6 games, 0 points would be hard to catch up. But I'm not sure a new manager would have a quick enough effect should PC decide to go down that route.
I admire your patience, but if the hypothetical 6 games 6 points did occur then you would still support him? It beggars belief. I cannot understand where you're coming from on that. I believe we will win Saturday anyway so its irrelevant.
I think other teams have had terrible starts, or terrible patches, and been fine after. If we didn't get a win in the next 3 games, it wouldn't be the end of the world, there's stil 40 games left, thats 120 points available! It would be a big ask to motivate the squad and get any confidence back, but I don't think we'll lose the next 3. If we do then come back and ask me what I think. I'm not convinced by him, but I'm certainly not calling for his head after 3 league games. That's madness in my opinion.
I think should Davey get the sack, we'd struggle to find anyone better in any amount of time. I'm not sure who people think would want the job, Barnsley fans give every manager a hard time, likewise with players. I doubt anyone has been spared by sections of our 'fans', and I'm sure outsiders are well aware of this.
Why is so hard to support to manager regardless of personal opinions? Some people would love to see him fail just so he HAS to be replaced

90 points from 77 games so far. 55 points from 49 if you don't count the latter part of the season when he was 'coping' with what was ostensibly Ritchie's team.
35 points from 28 games if you just count that latter part.
Or 0 points from 3 games if you don't count last season when he had to 'panic buy' due to the 'mess' that Andy Ritchie 'left'.
Or 22 points from 24 games in 2008.
Dunt mean fck all.

RE: there were those who wanted us to keep supporting Parkin! nt Fair point.
But I don't think the ability of the 2 can really be compared.
Some of Davey's decisions are utterly baffling, BUT he did still steer us to Wembley (however 'lucky' that may have been - according to some), and has kept us up 2 seasons in a row, on a limited budget. I just don't think realistically we will do much better at the moment in terms of attracting a new manager

I'd love to see him succeed at Barnsley. but he isn't. He's failing. That's why I have a problem with him. Plus every club gives the manager a hard time when they rarely win a game. We're not exclusive on that front by any means. We have hardly won a game for months and months if you include last season and we seem to be getting no better. It's nothing personal. The fact I think SD is **** is not based on him as a person.
RE: 90 points from 77 games so far. So effectively, whichever way you look at the stats, it doesn't look very good.
But the only stat that counts is that we stayed up both seasons against most peoples judgement - do you not see that as success?
RE: But the only stat that counts is that we stayed up both seasons I do see that as success, but I also see a downward trend since the middle of last season. I'm sure we'll pick up soon.
