Just been thinking about Davey and why he favours certain players over others. Paul Reid - frozen out after he was sent off against Colchester but to be fair he is not as good as the back 4 we have now. Andy Johnson - what did he do to piss Davey off? He was in the team one minute but not heard anything from him since. Again De Silva is miles better but it's like Johnson disappeared off the face of the earth. The one I don't get is Kim Christensen. I don't understand why he hasn't been given another chance. When you think that Davey has persevered with Odejayi, Nardiello, Ferenczi and even Mostto for a bit it's not at all clear to me why Christensen hasn't been given more of a chance. It's not as though our current crop of strikers are freely scoring. It seems with Davey if you fail him once you're out unless you're called Odejayi, or have I missed something? Surely it would be worth having KC on the bench?
It seems so I just don't get why. I never watch training but he can't be so **** that even Odejayi is nailed-on to be ahead of him in the pecking order? Maybe it's something personal with Day, you never know.
