He's not the most eloquent is he? Makes me cringe at times, but hey, he's got us playing good so I can't fault him!

I dunno, he speaks better than I could over a twenty minute interview when more or less the same questions are directed at him every week. As did Keith Hill to be fair to him.

I think I'd get bored shitless after doing those a couple times and just start flicking bits of rubber at the interviewer. If I'd got my pencil case with me.

There's some interesting comments in that interview. He says that other clubs are noticing our players and he feels that we'll lose players this summer- especially if we don't start tying up those who are out of contract.

The club clearly aren't going to play ball till they know what divison we're going to be in, and I can understand that. I can see us having our work cut out getting them signed up after the season's finsished.

Bang on. Jay. The quality of the interviewing is absolutely abysmal. Keith, David, Mark, Simon etc. must have had the patience of saints to put up with the questions from these 'trainee' journalists who should carry an 'L' Plate on the backs.

    It'll be a big boost

For everyone, players, management & fans alike, if Martin Cranie's scan shows his injury isn't as bad as first feared.

I'm not that convinced that all our players'll be off. They're not stand out amazing players alone, they're part of a very good team and are making each other look good. Most are cast offs or lower league players polished up by Hill/Flicker/Mellon/Scott. And I suspect after how well we've been doing, and if Flicker stays, that most will want to stay for next season.

Interesting comment about some managers being distracted by other/outside/fans influences and taking their eye off the ball. Wonder if he as spotted where Keith went wrong!

Keith had one plan but it didn't include the last third of the pitch, I didn't detect any deviation from that plan

Also said he's going to rewrite the book on coaching...it's amazing how daft people sound when you take everything they say literally!

Re: It'll be a big boost

if we continue playing the way we are until end of season we will probably stay up and be close to winning the 2013 table. That alone should be enough to have the out of contract players begging for a new contract, not fecking off elsewhere

I didn't know Chris O Grady gave his load, after the love Flicker gave him.

I think even OUR board can't get this wrong.

If Flitcroft and co aren't in charge whatever the division next season I'll be gobsmacked.

Question is, will Micky Melon want to continue on as a number 2?
