    i find that incredible. can somebody please tell me what Stockdale has achieved in his career.?.?
    im not saying Steeley should play for England. i wouldnt wish Crapello and his cronies on anyone.. but Luke has been awesome thus far this season. 2 or 3 cracking saves against Boro, an 11/10 showing at Reading, and just as hard to beat yesterday.. Ian Willcock i applaud u..

    Great reward for the highest conceeding goalkeeper in the FL

    14 goals conceeded this season, nobody else in our division comes close to that.

    Now i'm not saying i'd have Steele in the England squad or anything, but surely he's better than David Stockdale.

    At least Steele has some hope of getting into the England set-up, afterall, he's made a decent start to the season, despite the 4 goals he's conceeded.

    Purely selfishly, I hope Steele doesn't get a look in cos as soon as he does some "bigger" club will come in with £500k and he'll be off. Those bigger clubs know that Ipswich are no mugs and will sell their kids but only at silly money prices, Connor Wickham 8m, rising to 12m! Given our recent history we must be known as the soft touch of the league.
    Someone must think highly of Stockdale as he's only just signed a 4 year deal at Fulham prior to going out on a years loan to Ipswich.
