Perkins was very annoying today. I'm all for keeping the ball but he does it in the wrong areas, the ball at times needs to go forwards especially when you on the edge of your own box. He puts us under pressure far too much. Aldo he's a greedy fecker in front of goal
I just don't get the criticism of Dawson, him and Etuhu are vital players in our midfield. I think we're a poorer side without Dawson in it.
Dawson was a liability today as he always is but because we won he gets plaudits. He screwed things up several times, had time with at least two clear shots and blazed over the bar, and when he was in doubt he made the wrong pass or decision. The fact that he runs around a lot seems to some fans to equate that he is a good player. He isnt. Get shut.
This thread says more about the personalities of the posters than the players be discussed, me suspects.
McCourt is more of a luxury player, he won't do the graft of Dawson. No doubting he is more technically gifted though. But Dawson does a good job for us, he had scored in his previous 2 games on top of his 100% toil.
