RE: We're fecked unfortunately agree. He won't play Johnson; and Reid (?) and Togwell aren't good enough at this level.
RE: Straight to the bookies Could be a close call. 7 points from 8 league games in 2008. Scored 4, conceded 14. If our next 8 league games only produce 7 points, we will be on 48 points, needing 4 points from our last 4 games, PNE away, Leicester and Charlton Home, Cardiff away. Nervous times.
Will we balls. Lose v Wednesday, point at absolute best v Blackpool.
Coming off a heavy defeat to Chelsea on 42 points and in poor form. Nailed on relegation.

RE: Straight to the bookies What makes you think 52 points will be enough? I reckon we need 54 to be safe and even that might not be enough. Saturday is 3 points or bust imho. It's that vital.
RE: Straight to the bookies Needing 54 points would completely buck the trend. I think the most points a team has gone down with in the last 20+ years is 52 (Walsall I think).
RE: we will win the next 3 home league games We won't win another game away from home this season, infact i'd be amazed if we even scored a goal.
Prepare to be amazed Come on this is Barnsley - we do the unexpected. In each of the last 2 seasons there has been a watershed away win (05/06 at Oldham and 06/07 at Southend). I can see Preston being another one of those. Might even snatch another.
What do you reckon the odds are of him playing on Saturday with a pain-killing injection? Risky approach but I would have thought a possibility.
