That HAS to be our back 4 with Stones doing a more than adequate covering job on the bench.

Foster, Wiseman, McNulty simply aren't good enough.

Let's face it, Foster should have been let go instead of Moore a couple of years ago.

Why does that HAVE to be our back 4 out of curiosity?

I'd pick Stones ahead of Hassell or Collins in that back 4.

Not sure we can pin too much blame on the back 4 for what sounds like 2 goalkeeping howlers can we?

I might be tempted to go with:

    Stones Hassell Cranie Golbourne

Best 4 at the club IMO.

Stones is a full back, it seems a bit odd to play him out of position on the left side of central defence when you've got a centre back who performed bloody well there last season sat on the bench. But that's exactly what Hill is doing right now, the only difference is its a **** full back.

hassell is BFC's best defender in my opinion and is far more experienced than Stones who I would use as first choice cover for this season allowing him to gain experience rather than throwing him in at the deep end with a pile of toss next to him.

I wouldn't argue too much with that.

What is abundantly clear though is that Neither Foster or Wiseman are good enough and the sad thing is that people have been saying the same for a long time but Hill is blind to it.

Cranie is a left sided centre half, so if I played Stones & Cranie I'd obviously play Stones as the right-sided one. Seen him play there for the academy and he's better than most.

I don't think McNulty is anywhere near as bad as you think he is either, but I'd agree that Foz shouldn't be playing every week.
