first time iv witnessed any side winning by one goal in dying moments still play 3 players on half way line! Maybe it was a ploy to keep their players back, or we just knew wednesday would'nt have scoreded if we'd still been playing now!!
Baffled me too that one did. Think davey said to em, everyone over 5ft get back, everyone under 5ft, get forward.
I've often wondered why more teams don't do that. There's no numerical disadvantage in defence as the opposition also have to hold players back, and it gives the defence an outlet when they win the ball.
did we have anyone on the post though? as that's whats usually dangerously left out if there are going to be equal number of defenders to attackers
