    Very frustrating today

but still the best crosser of a ball we've got. Mind you saying that, Foster produced the best cross today.

Oh I see, I have to dislike someone, coz I disagree with your post

Incidentally, IMHO, Davy still has a lot to prove to win me over, but the last 2 games his tactics etc have been spot on. I really hope he fully wins me over as that would mean the team are doing well.

Fosters a great crosser of the ball. And Devaney is only frustrating, because you know he can do it.

He is a bit of an enigma, plays like the best winger in the championship in games and is poor in the next. He would be the first to admit that he had a stinker today, but he never stops working and is still a very good player.

    Maybe he wasted away

He didn't look as though he had much meat on him to start with....

One of my pals at work is a Muslim and she used to find all sorts of ways around it.

    RE: Devaney is ****!

Devaney was my MOTM versus Wednesday. He just needs a bit of luck now. He's one of those players that I'd always like in the team because although he's inconsistant, you always still feel that he's trying 100%.

If your looking for people who had stinkers today

Look no further than Hume & Campbell Ryce, which is a shame, because we only really seem to have an attacking threat when they're on form.

Was JCR playing at LB today?

Kozluk got forward more than he did. A bizzare performance IMHO.

I think he was told to tuck in. I can't really say where he was playing. Defensive left wing or sumet.

    Devaney's only issue is consistency

When he is good he is very very good. When he is poor he's just not there at all. Make no mistake though, when he's at his very best, he's good enough for the top flight - if he played week in week out like he played at the Millenium Stadium, at Anfield, like he did against Chelsea and in other matches, with those remarkable crosses that are almost impossible to defend (because they seem so deep, but then drop at the last second)- he'd be off to play for a club like Sunderland or West Brom in the Premier League. Trouble is, we know he isn't like that every week. We'd be mad to let him go without proper a fee (and we haven't got a great history of getting good fees for our decent players - McIndoe and Howard being recent examples) never mind boot him out.

Devaney was crap in play off final apart from one decent ball!!

Theres inconsistent and theres TOO inconsistent. Devaney falls under the latter.
