Can anyone recommend any? Less that £100 please.

Not sure what to look out for really, but in particular I'd like one that will display the images RANDOMLY each time I switch it on.

It will be loaded with LOTS of old family photos - so I don't want the thing to start from the beginning of the sequence each time.

    TIA,
    Stephen

    Sorry

I can't recommend them as I think they are distracting. Would much rather have a photo in a frame.

I scanned a LOAD of old stuff in for my Parents

Printing them out isn't an option - and they don't have a laptop etc...

    They are the new "Footspa"

Sound a good idea, ok for a while but then you get totally and utterly pissed off with it drawing your attention away from everything while it turns over photo's you have seen a thousand times already. So then you unplug it and it becomes a dark square with nowt in it,,then it gets relegatd to the guest room then the cupboard then you give it away to someone who thinks it would be a really good idea LOL

    Correct

Bought one for the inlaws a couple of xmases back.
Never got used after the first fortnight.
Better off organising the pictures into folders, roughly chronologically, and burning to CDR's.
Most DVD players will slideshow JPEG files off a CDR.

We got given a Kodak one which was very kind but without reading the instruction book it is a nightmare to get it to do anything other than play what's on your card. But it would be OK for what u have in mind.

These were good when they 1st came out and you could be the envy of all your visitors. Novelty soon wears off and mark my words it will be a glorified dust collector after 2-3 weeks max.
