I've got one of the Pure Evoke models in the office at home. Can't fault it. I think Richer Sounds are knocking the base model out for £69. Most of the brands do them now, though - Roberts, Sony etc.

Don't EXPECT to pick up local radio around here.

I can't receive either of the DAB Sheffield Stations from my home. The nearest transmitter for the South Yorkshire EMAP is a Clifton Hill.

    I've got no probs....

Too much metal for my test.. with the odd punk track to sweeten...

Can't beat Jupitas in the morning.. Where else would you hear King Tubby, Captain Beefheart and the Wedding Present on a breakfast show?

    Tony,

I fitted a loft aerial also (and it is still not all that great). So much so, that I abandoned using the set altogether. I'm back using FM. It's hardly an ideal situation for most folks.

A real pity, as I purchased the radio in order to get the "second" commentary game on Radio Sheffield.

Out of interest, what was your signal like without the aerial? I got NOTHING.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

I've had it for 2 years and find it excellent. With no aerial and I live South Huddersfield, it picks in Radio Sheffield no problem. A bit pricey at £100+
