Reading the post below about the Reds Saver Account got me thinking. Does anyone know what happened to the "True Reds Bond Scheme", or whatever it was called, that Mr. Ridsdale tried to launch? Is it still running? Did it get cancelled & all money refunded? Did anyone even apply for any bonds??
Bond Scheme As far as I can remember aroud 100 people took up the bond scheme (mostly Tommy Tyke and friends).... the club said they would honour the deal (£30 off a season ticket for 6 years)... and that no further applications were accepted after it was found at that the monies generated were to be used to keep us out of administration instead of buying players... Ill fated ill thought out scheme which cost more to launch than was actually generated...
