That was a total **** up. People waiting for 6 + hours to then be told the tickets were sold out. Anyone with a grain of common sense would know that offering 2 tickets to season ticket holders (with 6,000 plus season ticket holders) and a mere 6,000 tickets was asking for trouble. Who hired the cretin? He should walk as well. We are the most amateurish organisation in Yorkshire, and I for one after many years will not renew my season ticket.
Maybe not a very considered post but... anyone with a brain the size of a pickled onion would know the formula of 2 tickets per season ticket was a recipe for disaster.
Why not one ticket per season ticket, therefore all the fans who stump up the cash afore hand are guaranteed a ticket?
Why not make tickets available online, as for concerts?
Why not have a series of turnstyles open for cash sales only?
Why not have ALL the tills manned all day?
Why not sell the coach tickets separately at say the lottery office?
It really ain't rocket science.
But hey what does BFC care - we're just the mug punters who keep coming back for more.

A very disgruntled 7 hour queueing Orared /poo

RE: Maybe not a very considered post but... I've got one........... Why not give season ticket holders with X amount of away stubs from this season first priority like Liverpool do?
Rowing Won't Be Looking Forward To Supporters Trust Meeting I can imagine a few people might have a few things to say............ http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10309~1232465,00.html
RE: Maybe not a very considered post but... I haven't been away much this season, but I agree. And one per season ticket holder, until general sale, would have been a bit more sensible.
No i'm quite happy with my ticket for Liverpool and will save tomorrow night for those who missed out and have questions to ask.
