    They jumped the gun on naming but Doncaster officially becomes a City on 1st November - one of Her Majesties parting gifts to the people of Donny

    One slight issue in their football hub plan it relies on Doncaster Sheffield Airport as the transport hub. Doncaster Sheffield Airport is under review because its owner wants to close it down and build houses on the site.
