RE: I haven't got a choice I got it free so it doesn't matter, just spending the money I saved (and my dads) restoring it.
RE: I haven't got a choice I'd recommend spending your Dads money instead!! I may purchase some nice shiny alloys for mine come Xmas time. just to replace the not so nice standard wheels.
RE: I haven't got a choice Well I was in Halfords with my dad today buying some filler and we looked at the alloys in there. He's promised to get me whichever set I want for my birthday. The one's I'd like are £469 for the set with tyres ready to put straight on.
RE: I haven't got a choice I take it that's £469 for all 4? Not bad that. That's the only "mod" I'd make to my car, I don't like the wheels that are on it but I'd rather use them and save up rather than skinting myself right now. What car you got yourself then?
RE: I haven't got a choice Yeh it is. Halfords do some really good wheels to choose from too, all around the same price too, I was like a kid in a sweet shop trying to choose the ones I liked best. It's a 1997 Peugeot 306 1.9 Diesel It'll be great when it's finished. It's only done 80,000 miles and it's working perfectly. Failed it's MOT though, the tread on one tire is too low and the handbrake is sticking so it's nothing that can't be fixed.
