Daniel is some coach. Wow. Proper wow. To have worked with a group of new players and to have integrated them with the lads who stayed, in such a short space of time and so effectively is nothing short of miraculous. Really. That performance today is true testimony to Daniel and his ability. To put some icing on the cake they also seem v together....and fearless. Well done Daniel........your are the Messiah! Ps Red Rain.....you made reference to not exalting the coach too much.....(or demonising when things go bad)..... However in this case, the man in charge deserves all the plaudits.
I totally agree with that but just to piss a load of posters off can I say that it often feels he delivers the goods DESPITE the decisions off the Park. The coaching staff clearly didn’t know 48 hours before the first game of the season that last year’s top scorer was on his way. Similarly the interview on Radio Sheffield after the game today was excruciatingly embarrassing in the fact that DS clearly hasn’t the first idea which players he’ll be able to pick from next week. He deserves more respect from his employers. There, said it.
Agreed. The guy is a gem and the club is treating him like dirt. Will be sad when he inevitably has enough.
