    Euro 96 was unbelievable! I think he was the Leeds boss when we played them in a pre-season friendly 2002/3.

    RIP EL Tel top bloke, sad loss.

    Best England performance I've ever seen in my lifetime when we beat the Dutch 4-1 at Euro 96, their team had Edgar David's, Denis Bergkamp, Patrick Kliuvert, Edwin Van Der Sar, Danny Blind, Seedorf it was packed with world class players and we absolutely mullered them with EL Tel in charge, sad day.

    John Gregory spoke about Terry on a recent episode of Undr the Cosh, highlighting how he was so far ahead of his time as a football coach.

    Euro 96 was the first football tournament I remember watching as a kid, and even though I'd been watching tbe reds for a few years already at that point, it was that tournament that made me fall in love with football.

    Summer 96 will probably be the last to fade from my memory when I'm old and tired.

    On the Morning of 15th June the bomb shook the bloody car as we drove up Oxford Road. And in the afternoon Gazza scored that goal.
