    She's avoided another top five seed like she did when Barty lost. 2 am she's on which is a pain.

    just gotta put em on ignore. same people who won't accept Andy Murray or Mo Farah etc. the overwhelming vast majority are super proud of her as British

    As a tennis player myself and a brilliant one at that........though picked up a nasty hamstring tweak last night chasing down an overhead....sorry, got off the point a bit......I just think she's the potential to be a really great player. In the meantime she's a bit of fresh air because she's so young and seems genuinely stunned by her achievements; that's very endearing. I'm not sure her nationality comes into in for me. I had similar views when Coco Gauff burst onto the scene at Wimbledon.

    Having said that I could beat both of them, even with my dodgy hamstring. They're only 'girls' after all.........walks slowly away checking the vicinity for Red Helen and JamDrop...........
