Our footballing genius has been all over the media today ramping up pressure up on the board. The only reason i can think of why he is behaving like that is because he's had enough and wants out, so I'm expecting a totally bizarre team selection on Saturday, in which we'll receive a thoroughly good thrashing and the board will be left with no choice.

I removed the bollacks, it sounded harsh and not nice.

I don't believe Hill would invite the sack, if for no other reason than this will affect Flicker's job, livelihood and his future employment prospects.

It does sound like something Radio Sheff would come out with which should be a heads up for all of us.

I didn't see the ****** bit so I'll let you off this time.

Flickers plight wont bother him. In the "footballing genius's" head he'll find another job easy and flicker will follow. I think that shone through the other day when he said that in a few years time when was managing in another team, he'd hate to think that he'd broken John stones by over playing him now.

What he doesn't reckon with is the abject failure of managers after being sacked by Barnsley. Where's Simon davey these days?

I don't deny he said it, I don't believe he's engineering his exit as this thread suggests. My arguement is that he would not take such chances with Flicker's job even if he would with his own, that he has a loyalty and responsibility to his colleague.

I read it as someone who is desperately trying to hang in there. He's getting out in the open, it's one way of dealing with it.

I've had a feeling for a long time that flitcroft will be our next manager.

However I hope Keith makes a go of it, starting with a win on Saturday evening.

    Come on you reds.
