    Hello everyone,

    I'm currently doing my dissertation for my final year of university and need some respondents to a questionnaire. The questionnaire is based around whether football supporters have a positive or negative view on politics within the arena of football.

    I agree with Conan on that one. I think it is a very complex issue which I'm sure many people would like the chance to discuss in greater depth. As I think I have already posted this week, I despise the sectarianism in football, and I feel there is no place for any anti-IRA chants and the like at games, as it is just not an issue which has relevance in a stadium. Yet with football having such power to connect masses of people, many of whom have similar beliefs, there should be every opportunity for these fans to use football as a way of coming together and campaigning for something they really believe in. Whether it's appropriate to do this during a game though is another matter, and of course, the way that dangerous views such as those of Fascists and the like seem to go hand in hand with football is something horrible to see. It's a tricky one.

    Completed it.

    I've been doing my dissertation this year too and just today put a bind on it so it'll be handed in soon, good luck with writing the rest of it up.
