Unfortunately, I wasn't at Oakwell tonight to witness another defeat and was instead at Huddersfield where I watched an entertaining 1-1 draw which was a fair result I thought.

Chris O'Grady started up front for Brighton. He was very slow. Slower than I remembered. But he was alongside LuaLua and Baldock so maybe they were just quick? He had two goalscoring opportunities. One came about through his own eagerness to reach a poor cross into the box but his header was weak and straight at the keeper. His second chance was typical COGba. Swift turn on the edge of the 'D' bamboozled the defence but his shot went just wide of the goal. Other than that, he had little impact and it wasn't a surprise to see him subbed off with around 30 to play.

Paddy McCourt didn't get off the bench. Which saddened me.

Jacob Butterfield was clear man of the match and scored again.

A few yellows and a red for Brighton, were they a dirty side YT or was ref a homer.

Straight up, pal, it was a clean and fair game throughout. The referee was a good un. I know that, because I hardly noticed him. Their lad got a yellow early on I think, and his second came when he lunged in, mis-timed, late on. Didn't affect the game really.

Not sure who it was, but one of em was booked for pulling Jake down first half. He was clean through n all. But other than that, twas a fair game and a fair result. Think the league table is a bit deceiving in terms of Brighton. They look a good outfit, saw lots of the ball but lack end product.
