Quite possibly one of the best things I've ever read. Ian's writing style is unique. It shouldn't work. But it does. Short, sharp but giving you incredible detail regardless. I read a lot of his stuff. When I write my blogs, I am inspired on occasion by him. Incredible piece of work. Cheers, Ian.

Well I recognise who this chap is...... Leeds is going well for him; he's a decent young historian & loving the course - working bizarrely hard as well.... Went down to see The Pop Group on 24 Oct with him & Donny 0 MK dons 0 next day..... Next trip to Leeds should have been for The Fall 28 Nov but it's sold out, so instead going to see Pete Wylie (without youngster) in Stockton on 29th - pint? Next trip to Leeds will be to see JAMC on Tues 17th Feb as seeing Fairport Convention in Newcastle on Wednesday 18th Feb.... my number is unchanged since 1999 & i've lost yours....
