have you had related incidents like this in the past? We had a couple of incidents about 2 years back and if i recall correctly its a warning for the 1st time then so and so forth. Im sure we had an incident of someone throwing a tin of sweetcorn on to the pitch - WTF indeed!
We've had at least three this season with home and away to Blunts and Coventry other night. Yesterday will probably result in us being investigated again.
No it wasent me, i was at back of stand, yeah we have been in trouble a few times we arnt alloud to go to Cardiff in car or Train you have to go on the Official club coaches and get your ticket from Police on Motorway and we were banned all together from going to Millwall after trouble their but that was about 3 or 4 years ago so should be aloud back now.
Wasn't it barnsley's responsibility to control the supporters in their stadium? I'm not sure how it is the fault of wolves at all
You could be right i know that some teams this season refuse to steward Wolves fans Blackpool and Bristol city to name but 2 but pretty sure it was barnsley stewards yesterday.
Can you explain How any club in the world can try and stop thousands of fans running onto a pitch? It's against the law to do so and therefore fans themselves are the ones who should be punished (talking about during the game really rather than at the end). If everyone on this board decided we'd all go to a game at any ground in the country and run on the pitch, most of us would get on, regardless of the security. I don't see how you can justify punishing a club for it.
**** me Are you actually a fan of Barnsley?!
Of course it's the fault of the Wolves fans. I think the police/stewards did a good job of stopping the Wolves lot getting any further than they did, but it's not the fault of BFC that 2/3 thousand Wolves fans decided to run on to the pitch.
I've never known anyone be so critical of EVERYTHING to do with BFC

surely the fault is in the hands of the Stewarding company and SYP Barnsley are advised by these parties as to how high the security measures shoulod be, if they have complied with these guidelines then as far as I am concerned its the problem of the aforementioned parties and not the respective clubs.
The ACS stewards are from Darlington but the Doyles lot are from town, the ones on the East stand lower did a good job but were let down miserabley by South Yorkshire Police in a big way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RE: Wasn't it barnsley's responsibility to control the supporters in their stadium? Come on we're all responsible for our own actions. I don't pinch sweets from the shop because I can do that nor do I run on to the pitch because I could do that. The 'blame' for the pitch invasion yesterday lies firmly with those people who ran on to the pitch. Yesterday's supporters I would have coraled them in a police cordon, filtered them out to waiting police who would take their name and address and I'd duly charge them.
RE: Wasn't it barnsley's responsibility to control the supporters in their stadium? What more can the club do than to employ hundreds of riot police and stewards. I'd be very upset if I was paying the police bill for yesterday, that all those officers with batons drawn and mounted support, couldn't prevent such a large number getting onto the pitch. They weren't as restrained with picketing miners and G20 protestors.
I meant when it comes to the FA/FL taking action. Always thought it was the team who's ground it was at that was responsible for controlling the supporters. Of course its the wolves fans fault for leaving the stand in reality
