Seems to me that we are failing to do the basic things right.

Corners.... 10 players, no movement, no runs, no one on the edge of the box anticipating the ball coming out. Players shocked that opponents clear the ball, and slow to react.
Our set pieces are woeful ... no plan. Just hit and hope.

We seem to be surprised by shots, ond slow to react to rebounds. ( only Bobby reacted to Steele's first half save, coming from outside the box to clear up, whilst Ramage and Kennedy were rooted, ball watching. )

Same when Paddy gets the ball.... everyone just stops.

Two or three occasions we got round the back, in good attcking positions - the ball into the box should have been driven hard and low, or cut back. Instead, Perkins and Dawson skied balls beyond the fsr post.

We seem to be lacking a bit of intelligence on the pitch. Bad decisions all round. This is the stuff you coach to schoolkids. It's not difficult.

On the plus side, that turn by OGrady in the second half was pure class.

Will be interesting to see how COG develops under DW, as he is a Flicker player.

I'm keeping a close eye on this one.
