2 well taken goals, when he's on it, he's great. hope he doesnt disappear again for 3 games tho eh...
Good link up play against lesser sides, makes the difference. 3 goals on a plate basically. If we can get used to converting half chances, we stick a good chance. I'd take 6th and a run at Southend in the playoffs nar....
If he could do it every game He wouldn't be playing for us. You get half-a-dozen games every season where he's absolutely class. The rest of the time he's a decent hard working player and imho worth his place in the side because of that. He's been hyped far too much and criticised far too much by those that see through the hype. None of that is his fault like.
RE: Good link up play I'd be happy with that. Big licks in Cardiff too. We need an early goal in games imho. Settles us down and gives a bit of confidence.
Competition for places he's not really been challenged for his position until now. hoping that limits the number of times he wakes up and thinks 'cant really be arsed today'. it helps when you dont concede many goals. who'd have thought it, eh.....
Cardiff or the New Wembley? best defensive record in the league. **** a brick. this boards crap when we're doing well btw...
Since I de-registered We've gone unbeaten. I first used the old old old bbs just after Wembley. Thus my use of this medium has coincided with some of the worst times for BFC. Speechless at our defensive record. Cardiff or Wembley will result in a weekend of nonsense
I was at the Millenium Stadium yesterday, and asked them that very question. Apparently the FA have just announced that the new stadium will be ready for the play-offs this year, but the contractors have as much as said that it won't. Accordingly Cardiff are still assuming they will still be required to host them this year.
This talk of playoffs..... Dunt like it much. Far too hit and miss - let's gerrup either second of better still first. There's no runaways a la Hull and Luton like last year. 8 points is f'call to make up.
Don't think we've got the consistency to compete with Hudds and Swansea Hope I'm wrong like, but I think the play-offs are the best we can do, which I think would be a great achievement by Ritchie. We're capable of beating anyone, but we're also capable of playing like a set of spanners.
Also, commercially, playoffs best strong possibility of hanging onto the hangers on that day trip down to Cardiff/London, and to survive in Championship, we need 15k average gates imho. heart breaking to lose mind, lightening cant strike twice, can it...?
agreed half a dozen class games and hard work for the rest puts him head and shoulders above most in this league
RE: agreed surely that's the main difference between this league and the premiership-in the prem managers can in the main rely on at least 9 of the starting 11 to play at their best-in this league we usually gat about 5 and on the good days like bradford and swindon we get 8 or more-any consistently good player will move on
