What would you ask and why? Will try and ask some if I get the chance, although didn't get much opportunity at the last one.

How much control of how playing budget is spent will be held by a new Director of Football? Or will they be constrained by strategy defined by the ownership group. If the constraints are there, how specific will they be? (There has been suggestion in the past that only one player over 30 can be in the squad and a certain number of appearances need to be made by academy players)

Why are we playing such boring negative football? I attend all home games and the odd one or two away and until the Lincoln game (which I quite enjoyed) I have been bored at most of them and that includes the one versus Port Vale.

"Williams, Cadden, Kane, and Cole are all out of contract this summer - are we actively looking to extend contracts for any of them? Will any of those be leaving in January? Do the club feel we can challenge at the top end of the table should we have another window where we lose multiple senior players?" - If they are unwilling to comment on contract extensions, we did previously for Mowatt, so why not now, without specific details?
"In multiple vacancies advertised by the club the rate of pay has been criticised given the requirements of the roles. Given the recent falure that led to the FA charge, are the club confident that the salaries offered are competitive enough to attract the best applicants? In a wider context, as a supposed community club and high profile local business, shouldn't BFC be aiming to offer well paying jobs for the benefit of the town?"
"Where are we regarding the launch of next season's shirt? Will it be on shelves six months from now? If not, why not, given that has been a repeated request from the fans?"

It was once said by a senior member of our staff that Ismael playing his direct style of football didn't directly equate to success because of the unattractive nature he played. It was also said this unattractive style of play didn't add value to any players in our squad which was perceived to be the end goal.

If that is so, and thats how the board feel about how we should play football, how do they explain this season?

What exactly is the remit of the director of football role, and is said director in charge of head coach appointments and player recruitment?

In 2021, off the back of a very successful season on the pitch under Valyrian Ismail, the then chairman declared that the season had not been a success because we had had no offers for any of our players.

Markus Schopp was appointed manager and there was a notable difference in playing style. That season saw us change from a very direct, high tempo, high intensity pressing game to a far more pedestrian possession based approach. It was also made public by the club at the time that the change in playing style was a conscious decision on the clubs part.

That season also saw us relegated.

The interpretation from many of the fans at the time was that we were now playing to improve the data rather than playing to win games on the pitch.

Whilst not wishing it to sound like a personal attack the style of football we are playing at present is very similarly a pedestrian and possession based approach which I do not find at all entertaining.

Is this your preferred style of play or are you being asked to prioritise improving the data?

Why did we not contest the charge which had BFC kicked out of the FA Cup, when it appears there were several precedents set in similar situations with other clubs?

2 goals in his last 10 games, after 9 in his first 10. Do you think Devante has had his head turned?

Why couldn't we play Carlisle this weekend?

As the person responsible for costing the club a six figure sum with a basic admin error been fired for gross incompetence?

What's happened to us being a club that plays a pressing game through every level and age group? The first team head coach seems to have missed the memo.

Are you going to say sorry for the rubbish partnership with Fanatics?

Are the kits for next season ready to be made so we could maybe get them in for mid June latest?

Following a decent start to the season and some solid form, is automatic promotion a realistic target? Or would the playoffs be viewed as a success?

If a replacement is found before the end of his contract, will Khaled be relieved of his duties as swiftly as is humanly possible?

Why have we have no discernible CEO since August? Who is doing Khaled's job now he has essentially left?

What is happening with the Fanatics fiasco with "customers" orders?

What is the club's expectation / goal for this season? Will not getting promoted be deemed a failure or is the club expecting this season to be a transitional season given the changes made in the summer.

If we are aiming for promotion, what will the club's priorities for the summer to avoid us doing a Wednesday next season.

Without pointing the finger at anyone, explain why the admin mistake that cost us our FA Cup place was allowed to happen. Did someone, without naming names, mess up and it was therefore an unfortunate individual mistake or was it not actually clear in the internal club hierarchy whose job it actually was to make these checks, as it would have been in the past when we had a club secretary.

    Okay....

"We're not naive - we know the club is effectively a business and we wouldn't expect the club to divulge any sensitive information central to that - but the general lack of communication from the club in recent months has become a bit of a joke. What's happened? The shutters appear to have gone well & truly up. I get that we're only the fans, but without us, the club is nothing. Surely we deserve better than that? Has an edict gone out to tell us nothing? There is not a peep from anyone regarding the players, short & long-term injuries, overall strategy and vision, the stadium's future. I could go on..... The goodwill and rapport with the supporters and wider general public of Barnsley, that was built up so well last season, has gone overnight. We feel thoroughly disconnected from our club. I use my season-ticket because I've got one, not because I really want to. What on earth has happened to Barnsley football club?"

Fans still waiting for online deliveries of away shirts. Will any ever be in stock ?
450 fans who travelled to Horsham, will they be reimbursed ticket and travel money ?
Does Neill Collins know the style of play he's trying to implement? He doesn't seem to be getting the best out of Cole, Kane, Phillips, Williams.
Stewards kicking fans out for standing up, why ? Other clubs allow standing in home areas without safe standing.

Why have you consistently refused to address fans' concerns? For example, many Barnsley fans placed orders for replica kits but their orders were delayed for weeks and months and, in many cases, didn't arrive at all, and yet, as a collective, you said nothing. You did not address the issue as a whole, nor did you respond to the concerns of individuals.

Why am I asking this? Because the board are clearly and demonstrably alienating the fanbase by their total disregard for fans' concerns. They are, with their inaction, on a route to make the business inviable. Without supporters there is no club. I care about the future of the club and I don't want this to happen. I don't want the board to kill this football club due to them being entirely unfit for purpose, but, unfortunately, that's the situation we're in. And I'm not at all interested in them claiming they are fit for purpose when they base that assessment entirely on their own egos, not the reality of the situation.

whos in charge now khaled seems to have disappeared, when is the new director of football expected to take charge once appointed and will it be somebody with experience of our leagues

are fanatics being held accountable for the shambles of the shirt issues or rather lack of shirt issues, having cancelled twice and being told no more away shirts will be ordered

Does the Club have a Disability Access Officer?
How many people with disabilities are on the waiting list for seats?
How does someone in a wheelchair exit the Executive Suite in an emergency if the lift is out of action?
(if blue evac chairs are mentioned ask who is carrying the evac chair.)

Is the Club now in the Black due to player sales from last season, these being obviously far in excess of any money spent on signings and wages for this season. If we are can we assume the usual fire sale will not happen next season.
