It isn't often I post, I am usually a silent reader, however I must admit I am a little like JLWBL and BFC Dave at the moment. Last night I missed my first match for god knows how many years, mainly because I take my son to swimming lessons on a Tuesday night, but I usually miss that and let my wife take him when a match is on. But after the Wednesday fiasco and then feeling so down after Saturday's match I decided I would be better off spending time with the family. And I hate to say it, it was almost satisfying to watch someone else on Sky Sports News getting cold and telling me how poor we were, at least I didn't have to put up with it myself. I was disappointed when we sacked Ritchie, I felt he had the contacts and the football knowledge, and was helping to guide the board as much as he could (I attended a few small gatherings with Andy where this opinion was formed), and that he would not just sign anyone for the sake of it. Sadly my fears are being realised. Being an accountant myself, and working with colleagues who have worked closely with Gordon Shepherd previously, I can understand where he is comingh from, however the only way to ensure the debts do not increase is to maintain Championship football, for the TV money, marketing, sponsorship and higher gates (if only from increased away support). I have been a season ticket holder for 25 years this year, and this is the first time I have felt this disillusioned, and that was before I read the messages on here!! Oh well, roll on QPR at home, I suppose I will be there cheering them on in the ponty as normal!!
