My under 14's team played in Sheffield today and as usual I wore my Barnsley wooly hat. As a result I was met with a resounding chorus of "feed the dingles". So to all those who are still arguing Hills case despite the tidal wave of statistics that prove he is the worst Barnsley manager in history. I hope all your little piggy workmates really stuff it up you tomorrow and make your life a living hell. Because I'm not sure what else will make you see the wood from the trees.
think that could be me then. tbf i don't like losing as much as anyone else, i do not know any better options of leadership on the criteria hill is forced into working but neither do i think they are told to pass back from attacking positions or not shoot when it is obviously the best option the players have to shoulder some responsibility imo. but i do know that its making us struggle and only the final nail of the fans getting on clubs back is awaiting. it doesn't matter imo if the fans decrease or boo and hiss from now till end of season because cryne has made his decision of no more involvment and wants rid of club. only a takeover will change this and i think that is very unlikely with the criteria of the clubs future financial wellbeing demanded by pc (admirably in my view considering. so my verdict on the situation is that hill is definately not the man manager he thinks he is , but i feel the board think that he is the best experienced option they have with the criteria they have set and that will not change otherwise the mark robins situation has been for nothing and imo they did not take that decision to start changing there minds. i also believe that the prospect of div 1 football will have been discussed and taken into account
It's more a change of mindset for me. I used to think that nobody could do better on the budget but now I think that nobody could do any worse but somebody else might, just might play to our strengths, stop pi55ing around with the team and formations and actually try to win from the first minute.
It seems once we are behind, Our heads drop and end up losing, we do not have the never say die players who can change a game, I watched the game yesterday and knew we would not score, too much passing, we need to have ago more like perkins did.
4-4-2 flying wingers, same team as last week (and the weeks before), players knowing their role and playing without fear. Nice snappy football, triangles in the right areas, balls into the box, bodies in the box, shoot on sight, full on commitment. Lost 3-2, what do I know?
q that is a sadder reflection on kids football then hill. if we were top of the league and lost yesterday they would give yoh same banter. what's your point?
