Wouldnt surprise me if the whole interview process is a charade

The £300k from Davies being sold should just about pay for Hill's severance package, so give Flitcroft the job on a temporary basis (with his newly appointed backroom team) and Don has got shut of the 'irritating Mancunian' and its as you were.

    Conspiracy theory is me.

Cheap option and in my opinion admitting relegation. Flicker until end of season then give new man the summer to build his team and aim for promotion back to Championship -that is a safe and logical gamble. However, go for the right man who keeps us up and brings the crowds back now that is a gamble. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the interviews.

Difficult choice and I really am sat on the fence and it hurts.

Just heard Flicker's interview on Audio Boo. Comes across as an honest, intelligent individual. Somewhat less Cantonaesque than his friend Mr Hill.

His decision to bring in a couple of fresh faces to have a look at the situation is good.

His biggest problem is being tainted by the Keith Hill brush

Flicker needs a "big win" against Burnley to put a few cats among the pigeons and his name back in the frame.

If Flitcroft get the job , regardless of any results he gets, the club can go get fecked from my viewpoint at least.

When he says that he risked his sides championship future when he left a valuable squad member at home because he didn't want to take him away from his family on new years eve he comes across as being thick as pig **** to me

That's not what he said. He said he wanted someone with more mobility in there (or similar) so picked Kennedy. And because he wasn't starting he thought he'd leave him at home rather than making him travel down. That seems fair enough. I disagree but it's fair enough.

And for the record, Kennedy had a good game.

He did say that mate, before he stated that he wanted AGILTY and PACE.
I cant see anyone saying that Kennedy did not have a good game, but the agilty and pace didnt work either did it ? We lost as usual, but that will have been bad luck I suppose.
Maybe just playing the best defenders is the better option instead of constantly changing to suit the opponents!
    But hey i know **** all !!

It doesn't seem fair enough at all, at least not to me it doesn't. He decided that rather than having the best possible squad at peterborough he would leave the most experienced player at home because he didn't want him away from his family on NYE. Despite the fact that his kids would be tucked up in bed at about 8pm anyway.

Anyone know if foster, done or harewood have got families?

No. He left him at home because he wasn't starting. Foster was on the bench, he probably didn't want two defensive players on the bench so to me it's good man management to let him stay at home.

I've heard the rumours about Flicker/Hill and Hassell falling out, I think leaving him out was a mistake and he's perfect for that system but his justification for not playing him wasn't he wanted him to sing Auld Lang Syne with their lass.
