So, no Cranie or Nyatanga for Saturday

Sounds very much like Pollitt in goal and RNL at left wing back. No chance of a striker either :-(

    Though Flicker spoke really well.

Doesn't sound like Alnwick has much of a chance at BFC.

Golbourne's head and heart not been right for last few weeks.......selling is good for all parties.

Re: So, no Cranie or Nyatanga for Saturday

His comments about Golbourne's heart not being in it and knowing he would be leaving for a week makes the decision to play him for 90 minutes on Saturday even more stupid.

Fraser Campbell is my guess for the striker who we missed out on.

My Guess is either him who scored Hat Trick for WBA in Midweek or Kenwyne Jones

He said initially Goldbourne didnt want to go

and then he changed his mind, cant blame the manager for that.

He's said ball in Alnwicks court

if he shows willing then he's back in the reckoning, if he doesnt or wants to leave, that will be that and Pollitt will probably stay. Budget permitting.

Re: He said initially Goldbourne didnt want to go

He said that was 2 weeks ago but for the last week it's been evident that he would be leaving so why did he get 90 minutes on Tuesday whilst Noble-Lazarus (his potential replacement) didn't get ANY chance to show what he can do and Tom Kennedy (the other potential left back) was taken off to make way for Golbourne at left back. It simply makes no sense at all

Good interview. Please mvoto can play. I think he mentioned 'back 4' too!! (that might mean wingers in front a la Jennings McCourt)

Lets just get behind them on Saturday as a win will make things look so much better.

I'm guessing Steele will be back in.

Comments that the manager is looking after his mates are "disgusting". Form a line round the back of the East Stand after the match on Saturday if you are guilty. I get the feeling that Flicker may well be in a mood to accommodate you.

    Tactical substitions

the way Southampton were playing, I bet RNL was glad he didnt get thrown on, back fired when Digby came on a week or so agon, you cant argue that he hasnt given youth a chance, it couldve been that the clubs were still in negotiations on the fee and only accepted Weds, otherwise pass.
