I prefer Messi's quiet humility and honesty to Ronaldo's cockiness and gamesmanship at times. I think as a manager I'd probably prefer Ronaldo in my team as he is the better at changing games, however I love the workrate of Messi and feel he is less selfish than Ronaldo. He'll quite happily take a step back and create chances rather than go for goal every time.
None of the above, I AM THE GREATEST PLAYER OF THIS ERA AND THE LAST ERA AND THE ONE BEFORE THAT. Factumundoid folks.
Gone Ronaldo, hes a goal scoring machine. And you just know he will score in crucial.matches including internationals.
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/lionel-messi-is-impossible/ This is a great article on Messi and highlights just how good he is.
Two totally different players. Both game changers. I've gone for Messi, as I like him & Barca, but a case can be made for either. Ronaldo pretty much kept a poor Portugal side together single handed.
They’re both exceptional and we’ve been lucky to have seen them both play for all these years. I picked Ronaldo due to similar reasons as others have said (what he’s done for Portugal and the fact he hasn’t stayed in the comfort zone all his career).
