Get in Jenson Button, it was a fantastic effort, so glad I got up for it. Hamilton from 18th to 3rd was an awesome drive too. Rule Britannia (england) (england) (england)
Well done to Button. Just shows how good Hamilton is if he can get a podium finish from the back of the field with a poor car. (england) (england) (england)
Well i wouldn't say Hamilton's drive was anything special, he had a lot of luck, people going off in front of him and Trulli getting the penalty but he took advantage of that and fair play. As you say the Mclaren is still a work in progress so far and will only get better.
Trulli is appealing though because Hamilton was going 'unreasonably slow' behind the safety car which caused them to believe he had a problem.
Wish theyd get rid of jonathan legard as commentator He sounds terribly posh and kept saying the same lines over and over "hes really on a charge" "he'lll go on a charge now" "wonder if hes going to charge" **** off! Where'd they pull him from? Ninja Warrior?
He was dire wasnt he Pleased they kept Brundle - And DC and Eddie Jordan are excellent pundits but that commentary was really not good at all
He might win it yet Trulli has no chance of getting his penalty overturned The 2 Braun's were racing with an appeal pending against their diffuser - if the cars are declared illegal after all Hamilton will win Quite how you can have a car declared legal but still allow an appeal to overturn the results after the cars have been scrutinised before the race is beyond me though.
It was a great day for the Brits because earlier the British "Triple Eight team" prepared Falcon dominated the Aussie V8 Supercar support race.

Here's the ins and outs of the affair. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/motorsport/formulaone/5060261/F1-diffuser-row-QandA.html
Got that one wrong didnt I Having seen the new evidence and that Hamilton was economical with the truth - to put it mildly - I must admit I cant argue with the Stewards on this one. Deliberately giving false evidence to get a competator to lose all his points is something I didnt think Hamilton and Mclaren would stoop to. He is lucky he isnt being penalised this weekend as well
RE: Got that one wrong didnt I Still think they are ruining motor racing. I'm quickly losing interest in a sport where the finishing order is decided in the stewards room after the race and sometimes days afterwards.
