    I think I would go for rested rather than dropped

    I'd expect all 3 to be back in on Saturday

    I do mean dropped, if they had made themselves invaluable in forest match they would be playing and someone else would been dropped. you don't see Rooney rested in second match of season.
    if they need a rest then we need to look at our pre season.

    tehnyou're wrong danny-boy. the cup is a chance for squad players to have a game.
    rooney doesn't even play in this competition, you're arguement is flawed in every way.

    it's terminology and opinion, if you want to say rested on second match of season fine.
    personally if I was the best player on the pitch in the previous match the I would expect to start the next.
    we are being competitive, if it's a squad game why only 4 changes?
    anyway doesn't matter what I think it's down to hill. I'll believe I'm wrong when he post back saying he rested players
