The quote from Steele is about the dressing room The thread is about frimpongs game contribution two different things, tommy cooper would have been great to ave in the dressing room but he would have been ***** on the field imo. Would have been better than from frimpong mind
He's a good player, technically sound, but he seems to have a poor attitude, and tbh I think it's got to be the explanation for him being poor for us. I actually think he would have been more useful to us further forward, he showed some promise in forward positions in his one good half, and like I've said he looks to have decent ability.
IMO he's been a total waste of a wage, he even took the piss out of Barnsley a day after signing. When I saw the thread title "Frimpong has.." I hoped it said he'd been released after I clicked on it.
I've seen very little to suggest he's worth the wages he's getting. I also met him once when my son was mascot and he was a right miserable sod.
How does having him In the dressing room have anything to do with the poor performances he's turned out on the pitch. I would personally be interested In seeing him get a decent stretch in the team, to see if he can live up to the potential he has. But the fact that he thinks he's far bigger than the club makes me hope he never gets the chance. He should be wanting to play for this club, not mock everything about it. he's been dog$hite for us. complete waste of time and money. danny knows it, mansford knows it, the vast majority of fans know it. complete waste of space. if all we want is a 'character' in the dressing room, we should sign peter fcukin kay.
I honestly thought he had gone after reading your thread title, but I suppose you will have to get the benefit of the doubt. Another disappointment to add to a season of disappointments.
I believe the lad has been a huge disappointment. To say he's been brought in from Arsenal, the level of his performances have been a massive let down. We've needed a quality midfielder all season, Frimpong seemed to tick all the boxes. Unfortunately, he's failed to deliver the goods.
I've only seen him play 4 times. I watched the Wednesday game on a live feed. About 10 minutes before he received the red card I posted on here that he was going to be sent off. I wasn't the only one who could see that. Just about everyone could. He duly obliged. Not a good start and probably cost us the game, but I've seen other players do it. At Donny he played OK. He made absolutely sure he wasn't sent off, which was sensible, but that affected his natural game a bit. Thought he got stronger as the match went on and he came out of the game with a reasonable 6 or 7. At home to Millwall he was the best player on the field by some distance. Strong in the tackle, but kept on his feet and came away with the ball time and time again. I thought we'd signed a reight player. Then he had 20 minutes against Forest and barely touched the ball. So, I haven't seen him have a bad game. He was great once, OK once, and did nowt the other two games (apart from getting sent off.) But I didn't go to Huddersfield or Watford. For a far more balanced view of Frimpong, you'll have to ask those that did.
He's always up to no good, so I used that thread title to entice folk in. And give it a few weeks, you'll get your wish. He's long gone.
Agreed. Question is, who'll have him? Wouldn't surprise me if he turned up as a waiter in the Dil Raj.
Bet hes playing for a better team than Barnsley Football Club next season. My guess would be wolves who will be looking to be promoted to the Premier league.
