Why didnt Coutois get his ban extended after Chelsea appealed his sending off on Saturday Referee was so obviously right when you watched the TV replays Gomis had beaten him and he stuck his leg out catching Gomis in the groin. I doubt Gomis would even have gone down if the contact had been minimal as he was going to score if he stayed on his feet. Chelsea must have known they had no chance of proving the Ref made an obvious error so shouldnt they get the ban increased for a frivolous appeal. I can think of much more marginal appeals that have been punished with increased bans
