As much as I think results in pre season games are meaningless

wing backs won't work for us unless we get a left sided player who can defend. And we need a striker that can score goals away from home consistently. The current strike force is not good enough to finish top half.

Yeh, he was ok. Nothing brilliant.

He wasn't lazy that's for sure. He wanted the ball, fought for it, but really didn't get much play

I'm the first to not take too much notice of pre-season results

However, there was a big difference between the two teams today. One wanted to win, the other wanted a kick around in the park.

I was really impressed with Jacob Butterfield today. He fought like a tiger or the ball and I really believe that he is a player for the future. I found myself shaking my head and screaming inside yet again at Odejayi. Ask anyone at the game about the Hong Kong Fuey kick instead of header and they'll probably say the same as me. He's not good enough!

Bri, dear blessed Bri. He played his heart out as he normally does, but he really does think he is invincible and sometimes tries the impossible, much to our cost.
