    Joe Deserved The Decision

What a **** that Joe Cortez is for allowing Hopkins to do what he didn't allow Hatton to do.

Exactly, and to allow him to nut Joe as he did.

Makes a change for the Brit to get the decision over the Yank in America. Been a long time coming after some dubious decisions to say the least.

They seemed to slag off Joe at every chance they got and played down what a fantastic victory it was. Hopkins wasn't very sporting either. At least Joe showed some respect.

Great warrior is Joe but a very poor boxer, fights like a girl with both hands windmilling slaps rather than punches.

Hopkins was playing the ref and judges with the'oooh he hit me in the nuts!' thing, he did that all too often for my liking, Joe deserved the win, well done Mr Calzaghe! (battered) (Y)

Boring Joe Calzaghe. He has lost whatever knockout power he once had, and sticks to scoring by slapping and moving. A dull, dull fighter. Successful though.

His first 30 fights were against stiffs like Audley Harrison used to fight on the BBC,like many of Khans opponents now, hand picked Warren fights.

Lucky IMO, but I'm well chuffed either way, if there ever was a rematch which they wont be (shame) Hopkins would make sure of knocking Calzaghe out without a doubt....But its all looking good for him as yet....But if he as a go at Roy Jones i think it could be a shot too far for him, Jones Jr is IMO well too classy for him....
