hold on a minute NEARLY. errm CBR6 for 100 notes and you had to think about it! mine is ok, just serviced MOT taxed mine at a cost of 600 quid, sweet as a nut now, been to the coast today, well looking forward to the summer and touring europe. (Y)
RE: hold on a minute It was the old jelly-mold model, been crashed, frame bent, engine casing slightly damaged, left hand handlebar snapped and switch gear fooked. I was planning on repairing it then selling it on, but I wouldn't have made much of a profit. Only other option was to break it...still toying with the idea. I'll be ordering new chain and sprockets for mine on Monday, front sprocket is slipping pretty badly and I don't want the chain through my leg or crankcases!
RE: hold on a minute If the repairs would make me a tidy profit when it came to selling it, I would've taken it and spent my time working on it getting it ready to sell in the summer, but I would've made minimal profit in the end. I'm planning doing a big service on the CBR4 next week, and it's only costing me spark plugs, steering head bearings, and coolant!
