You are driving up a slip road approching a duel carriage the slip road has 2 lanes the left lane is for the buses the right lane for all other traffic. Between the 2 lanes is a solid white line, the lane for other traffic is about 200 yards long before you get the the Give Way line to join the duel carriageway, the bus lane carries on for approx a further 700 yards with a solid white line between the bus lane and duel carriageway, at the end of the bus lane is a Give Way line for the buses to join the duel carriageway.

Why then do no fecking buses use the Give Way line at the end of the bus lane and constantly cut up traffic by driving over the solid white line. If i wasn't in my own car id have not breaked and smashed straight into the back of the bus suffered whiplash & sued Stagecoach & the knobend driver for dangerous driving.

The Green Cross Code is for pedestrians crossing the road, tufty and all that. Highway code. Bus drivers are a pain though.

    not necessarily

If you were travelling down a road and another vehicle pulled out in front of you leaving you no time or room to brake then the resulting collision would be the fault of the vehicle in front.

Whilst we're on the subject, how long has a single amber light on a traffic light meant "go faster"? Not that I'm pissed off with her for not stopping!

if you bought an up to date highway code liked all motorists are supposed to do every 2 years it clearly states that bus do actually have a right of way against allother traffic . but yes they are a bunch of nobs

Right of way at a bus stop. You only pull out of a give way if its clear & you never pull out over a solid white line

they don't even have right of way at a bus stop do they?

I thought that the highway could simply states that where possible and safe you should give way to a bus. I didn't think it said anything about a bus having automatic right of way. ie it can't just pull out of a bus stop in front of a moving vehicle

the way i interprit the law is if a bus has its indicator on you have to by law give way was told this by a judge who is also an advanved driver. if its not indicating and you hit him then you may have a case but i wouldnt hold my breath
