Paul Hayes

Has scored 9 Goals. He also has 7 assists this season.

I make that 16 Key contributions in 27 League and cup games.

That means he either scores or creates a goal in every other game.

The statistics speak for themselves.

Its the double standards. You slag off Hayes for being lazy, yet you want Nardiello in? There's just no logic to your thinking. Thats not a matter of opinion, ANYONE can see that Nardiello's lazier. I like Nardiello, but he's lazy. I like Hayes, but he's crap in the air. But to dislike one player for being lazy when the one you like is lazier, is not opinion, its a lack of brain power.

Agreed Hayes is poor in the air.

Hayes has much more ability than Nardiello especially outside the area.

I have never seen Nardiello score a goal like Hayes did at Bradford, or the one at Gillingham.

Hays goes a few games doing nowt and keeps getting picked. Nardiello gets a game or 2, but when he doesn't score, gets dropped instantly...

Thats the difference. Nads will score given a run in the team, he proved that end of last season.

Apart from that, theres no difference.

Both lazy, both can produce match winning perfomances when they feel like it (although few and far between).

Richards. sorry, apart from graft is ****.

I would like 2 see the 2 lazy sods up front, and get a run together, hays, no doubt can score when he wants to, but best at assists, and I think nads will get bucket loads if partnered with hays.

Other option, get rid of the lot, risk not getting anyone else in january, and be really stuffed...

mate, you obviously know **** all...

for hayes to link up with shuker he doesn't have to win headers, when the ball is played into feet like it should be he is excellent. we didn't sign him to win headers, he was signed to improve out team.

he pulls away to the touchline in order to let the midfielders break forward. this is because it is much harder to track a deep run like devaney and shuker make than movement from a forward. it isn't a coincidence that hayes has so many assists this year.

and to call that a lucky turn is like saying the everything devaney does is lucky. the idea is you make the defender think you are going the other way...sometimes works, sometimes doesn't...that time it worked and the keeper read it well.

so until you understand football and make some sort of sensible football related comment...shut the **** up.
