    Can't dismiss him yet.
Vaz te missed an even bigger sitter last week but he's bounced back and scored a lovely goal from a tight angle

He is a player that looks as though he should be a good player, then proves you wrong.
Just something about him that makesme want him to come good, but he looks a bit overawed. I know he had a good season scoring wise last year, but previous seasons were not the clever, so maybe he is like Odejayi, in that he can score in the lower leagues but is not good enough, hope not.

Doesn't quite look match fit yet to me. When he switched from the wing to inside he looked far more dangerous and created that 2nd chance through his own endeavours. Shame he spurned both chances cos I think it would have boosted his confidence if one of em had gone in.

... And not match fit. Give him a chance, I think he will do ok once fit. Looked shot in the second half.

he's coming back from injury, not match fit and needs game time. he's not had enough games yet for anyone to judge him let alone compare him to odejayi.

Nah, he is just a bit rusty, the lad has hardly played. He knows where the back of the net is, it will come. Thought he had a decent game tonight, especially when he went up top.

I thought it was a big ask of him tonight to play that wide role

bearing in mind his lack of games. I will judge the lad when I've seen a lot more of him.

Agreed. I'm so pi55ed off with players being written off without being given a decent chance. The lad is young and is coming back from injury. There is a woman who sits behind me who constantly picks on a player , Davies is the flavour of the month now, "Davies yer rubbish, yer lazy, come an' sit up here' ... it was pointed out to her that Davies had given Butterfield the opportunity to score his goal by winning his header at the back post. I cannot undrstand how abusing your players can make them improve.

He's a far better player than Odjob! Let's face it, Kayode looked like he was gonna fall over his bootlaces every time the ball was played into his feet. Davies has a lot of improvement to come but he's still streets ahead of Odejayi...
