y does evry1 criticise the poor lad he does a job at left back he might not be the fastest or the best but every game he gives 110% lets keep of the lads back
if thats your reasoning let me play left back im not the quickest, or the best, but il give 116% which means il be better than hecki
I really don't think we need players who can just "do a job"! We want players of Championship quality. Can't knock Hecky for effort but i believe we need a new left back and at least one quality centre half for the new season to sort out our defence.
I don't think anyone is having a go at Heckingbottom the person ... But as a player I think that a lot of people simply don't think that he is up to this standard (mainly it has to be said as a result of a lack of pace.) I get frustrated watching him at: 1) The lack of pace; 2) The way he always seems to back off giving attacking players space to run into and exploit his lack of pace. Equally I'll give him his dues and say that he never hides and is an excellent passer of the ball. But when weighing one up against the other I don't think he's good enough to be a first team regular and we need a new left-back. That's not 'having a go at Hecki' that's simply passing an opinion on a football related matter. Isn't that what this forum is for?
RE: I don't think anyone is having a go at Heckingbottom the person ... seriously tho what left back can we get there is not really n out n out left back who we can sign perminant is there? only on loan we want to be makin signings cumon lets name some left backs who we can get
its such a shame that we missed out on roberto carlos he could of done a job there i think. it just shows a lack of ambition by both the manager and the board............
exactly he does a job just not a very good one, example vs norwich city at home he was the cause of at least two of there three goals that day, he needs replacing
When Norwich doubled up on him you mean? Whereas every other team in the league had strengthened that area and doubled up on Huckerby? That was his fault was it?
they may have doubled up on him but that doesn't explain why for both goals he was cought out on the right sid eof defence leaving the left wide open
we was learnin last season a carnt se us gettin much tonk ins this season hecki is a good player when u look at top clubs they ave got prem defenders i.e mcshane wba, we carnt afford top bucks
couldn't cut the mustard for wednesday when they were struggling in the championship they offloaded him to us (then league one). still can't cut the mustard in a struggling championship side. get rid. now, i've got a craving for a beef and mustard sandwich for some reason.
