Love that man. No matter what happens I will support Hecky whichever league we're in. Futures bright. The futures Hecky.
I generally try not to get too carried away with manager interviews because if we're winning everything they say is great, and if we're losing everything is rubbish. However, I can honestly say that Hecky's interviews are by far the best I've heard from any manager in my time. So level headed, treats the ups and the downs sensibly, and always gives the indication he's a steely focus on the ultimate task. Loved it when he said he always has banter on his phone with the lads he used to stand on the Ponty end with. Whatever happens there should always be a door open for Hecky at our football club.
yep he sounds far more experienced than his years and experience as a manager suggest he should. he was one of those pushing for the sports science we have brought in and it looks liek we are seeing the benefits of this.
