You mean he was playing for Mainz against Stuttgart in the Bundesliga?
He hardly got a game last season. Hope he gets more this season

Barnsley Football Club would be a totally different outfit if he was back in goal

He is better than any other goalkeeper that is currently playing in the Championship

Not really. He let in a couple and Mainz matches are banker quality for BTTS bets.

Just seen the highlights on ITV4. Had a spill for Stuttgart's second but some belting saves before that. I don't think I've had as much faith in a Reds keeper in the last 15 years as him.

He would have come for that long throw on Saturday and punched it. Absolutely no doubt about that

Yes and that would have given us a point
And the season Muller was at the club he was often the difference between losing and getting us 1 and sometimes 3 points

    People soon forget these things

That's why after watching Muller you realise that Steele is neither big enough, strong enough or brave enough to be good enough
And his distribution is often awful
    Other than that he's alrieght

When it looked like Steele was going to leave everyone was in a huff, he's stayed and everyone is in a huff. Nothing is ever ok for a Barnsley fan. Rather than the 1 goal conceded saturday look at the 0 goals scored and you're closer to the problem.

I'm a fan of Steeley and I'm glad that he re-signed, but Heinz was just on another level. He totally commanded the goal. I remember him getting injured versus Colchester and being gutted as our best player was obviously seriously hurt.

Luke Steele was key in us staying up the last two years. And that isn't up for debate.
He was key to us progressing into the next round of the cup, too.
Absolutely no way is he at fault for that goal Saturday. I think it was a quality delivery - Delap style - and M'Voto would/should have cleared it had he attempted to, rather than attempting to foul his man.
Yet to be convinced he's the answer to anything. No better than Hassell, who would have headed that ball out.
My opinion. Probably ********, but such is life.
